I called Bridgerland Technical College a couple of weeks ago to register for their three evening classes on PhotoShop Elements. I have the program and a book (PhotoShop for Dummies) but I felt like a dummy regarding the program so it was time to get something done. The instructor (Emily) told me it was a bit "scrapbookie" but I would still learn the basics plus some tricks. The twelve hours were well spent. The program is amazing! The documents that I did are a bit over the top with embelishments but it was still fun to create things that could be shared. No ribbon and scissors for this guy -- just digital stuff.

I always wondered how "they" got the color in a black and white photograph. Not too difficult. Also, note that the corner brush stroke is the same color as Tre's sweater -- the dropper tool makes it easy.

The roses are from the Musee Rodin gardens in Paris. Again, the dropper tool makes it so I can match the paper to the color of the roses.
